Textile is the favorite medium of Melina and Maëva, two artists who graduated from Konstfack. During the exhibition, they are excited to share their creative process with you. Their work includes tufting, weaving, or even applying textile symbols on ceramics.. They use natural yarns or upcycled polyester clothing, showcasing a wide range of techniques and methods. By experimenting with a medium traditionally associated with female domestic labor and often confined to the home, these artists reclaim and redefine its potential. In this exhibition, textiles take over the bar space, spreading a message of female empowerment across the walls.
