”Nu är det dags!” 2024

During my residency at @varmeverket , I worked on reappropriating the Swedish flag. Crafted from old football jerseys, this piece is a statement against the appropriation of our national symbol by fascists. It represents reclaiming the flag, asserting that Sweden is the suburbs too. It’s about multiculturalism, anti-racism, and anti-capitalism.

We created a photo series with the amazing @sara_._rad on the roof of the heating plant in Bredäng, in the southern suburbs of Stockholm.
